This place is awesome! Used to come here frequently a long time ago for Dim Sum and used to be really hit or miss. Came again after a year or two and oh man, everything was great. This review is only about the push cart Dim Sum on the weekend.

Atmosphere: Always crazy busy here, I come toward the end of Dim Sum because its typically less crowded then earlier in the afternoon. They give you the choice of a shared table or a private table for your group which is great. Typically always wait for a table so we waited about 10-15 mins for a private table of two, we got a booth in the back, which was a little more private than in the middle on the main floor.

Service: Very quick and efficient! Staff was very friendly as well and they were always around if we needed something. Our waitress even circled back once or twice to ask how everything was, that typically doesn't happen at Dim Sum places. Others are typically quick to keep you moving along and a little dry to customers.

Food: It was all amazing! Very hot and fresh food coming out and consistent as heck! We got a few of the same dishes as well. The dessert options are also good. I'm also a sucker for a good rice roll, one thing to keep in mind for next time is that they can custom make the Rice Rolls too, so will ask them to experience some different variations of it.

I went to this restaurant quite often several years ago when I was living in NJ.  The food was okay then, not exceptional but not bad.  I was disappointed a couple times that I was served broccoli that was cold.  This was a long time ago.

This review is for a recent Sunday dim sum visit.  The place was very busy.  We had to wait for a table.  Service was very good considering how busy the servers are.  However, the dim sum was disappointing even compared to the DC/MD/VA region.  Overall, it was still a decent experience.

I have to start this review with a major qualifier.  There are no other decent dim sum restaurants in the entire state of New Jersey.  Trust me.  I scoured the entire state only to be disappointed with bad experiences everywhere I tried.  I usually have to go to NYC/Brooklyn/Flushing for decent dim sum when in the NJ/NYC area.

Now that that is out of the way, I have to say I was pleasantly surprised with Qin Dynasty.  The restaurant was a decent size, clean and setup well for cart service.  Just as many people already commented, parking can be an issue.  So make sure to get there as soon to opening as possible in order to get a parking spot and also avoid the wait.

The service was decent as well.  As soon as we were seated, we were immediately greeted with several carts and soon had the table full of servings.  The server for our area was attentive even though it was very busy.

The food was decent to very good overall.  Below are reviews of the individual dishes we got:
    - Pork Siu Mai - These were good.  I have never seen them prepared this way with a sprinkle coating, but they tasted great.
    - Shrimp Siu Mai - These were not too good.  They seemed like they were purchased pre-made from a food supplier.  I probably wouldn't get these again.
    - Xiao long bao (Soup dumplings) - These were OK, but I definitely have had better at other places.  I probably wouldn't get these again.
    - Shark Fin Dumplings - These were great.  I really liked these.  You can relax, they don't have any shark's fins in these.
    - Beef Tripe - This was also very good.  The sauce helped make this a great dish.
    - Tofu Skin Rolls - These weren't that good.  The skin was tough on these and made it difficult to eat.
    - Shrimp Noodle Crepes - These were good and up to decent standards.  They weren't the best I've ever had, but they were good.

So, my condensed suggestions are to get the Pork Siu Mai, Shark Fin Dumplings, Beef Tripe and Shrimp Noodle Crepes.  These were the only items I can comment on since these where among the items we got.

We were too full to eat any more.  But, next time we want to try lo mai gai (sticky rice in lotus leaf), har gow (shrimp dumplings), ho yau gai lan (Chinese broccoli), don tot (egg tarts), pork spare ribs, lo bak go (turnip cake), and char siu bao (BBQ pork buns).

I will definitely be coming back here for my favorites and to try some new dishes.  I really liked this place--especially given that New Jersey is a Dim Sum food desert for some reason.

    *** UPDATE ***
I have been back since my last review and have this to add to the new dishes I tried:
    - lo mai gai (sticky rice in lotus leaf) - This was great.  These are made in the traditional way and were well worth getting.
    - har gow (shrimp dumplings) - These were OK, but not up to the standard I am used to.  I probably won't get these here again.
    - char siu bao (BBQ pork buns) - I not a fan of these in general so please take the review of these with that grain of salt.  I felt these were generic and nothing too special for my taste.  I won't get these again.
    - Pork Siu Mai - This is a correction from the first time I thought I tried these.  The server accidentally called the meatballs pork siu mai the last time I came here.  This time I got to try the actual pork siu mai and I loved them.  I think they are my favorite dish here.  So, be sure to get these.

I've been coming here with my family since I was young because it's nearby. A more accurate rating from me would probably be 3.5/5, because I'd like to give it a bit more credit, but not quite enough to warrant a 4.

In terms of food, I think the taste is pretty good and also really affordable! This time we ordered one of the lunch specials (which also came with rice and soup) and a few dim sum dishes and it was way too much food for us, but was a really good deal. The portions are generally pretty large too.

Since it was a weekday and there were no carts, the dim sum came out really slow. Some wait is understandable because it is made to order, but considering that it wasn't that busy at the time, I still think the wait was a bit too long. The servers were generally okay this time, but in my experience can often be a little bit aggressive and not particularly friendly. They definitely lack in comparison to servers at many other restaurants who are very helpful and check to make sure everything is okay.

Still, because it is in a convenient area for us and has, in my opinion, pretty authentic taste at a good price, we will probably continue to come here in the future.

We've been here many, many times over the years.  Occasionally I hear or read a story of Caucasian customers getting discriminated against here - or treated differently and not in a good way.

Until today, I thought that it was either an exaggeration or the customer was somehow being less than polite.

We were next to be called for a table for two (we asked about 5 minutes earlier when we still hadn't heard our number), and suddenly we see two Asian women being escorted to a table for two.  These women came in AFTER we did!  I noticed them come in because one of the women was wearing a very unusual pair of pants with lace bell bottoms.  When I asked the hostess why they were seated before us, they told me they were the number before us - #40.  I would have believed them had I not seen them arrive AFTER us and heard #40 called about 10 minutes earlier and watched people being seated.

It's really a shame that they felt the need to treat us this way. Would it really have hurt to treat us the same as the Asian customers?  We have been long time customers who always tip at least 20% even when service is less than wonderful.

We will be returning to Noodle Wong across the street where we are treated as valued customers no matter what we look like.  Don't patronize Qin Dynasty if you believe that ALL customers should be treated with respect.
